Greetings! On behalf of the Members of Buckhead/Cascade City Chapter (GA), The Links, Incorporated, it is truly my pleasure to welcome you to our website. The Buckhead/Cascade City Chapter was chartered on June 27, 1995, and has continuously served the Greater Atlanta community since that time. We are one of fifteen Links Chapters in Georgia. Our twenty-plus years of sustained, transformational civic engagement are focused on being a community catalyst for the improvement and enhancement of academic achievement, health and wellness, and civic and intercultural activities for the citizens and families in our community. Some of our nationally recognized programs include “Linking Heart and Soul Community Luncheon Forums,” “Musical Cascades: Classics Through the Ages” – annual performances highlighting the talents of our college scholarship recipients, “Community Conversation Forum on Ending Human Trafficking” – a first time community wide collaborative dialogue of stakeholders regarding eradicating sexual exploitation of youth and women in Georgia, “Keeping Our Youth Engaged (KOYE)” – an umbrella STEAM curriculum to lower childhood obesity and “Heart Health Prevention and Intervention – A Better Life” – a preventive educational series targeting women and seniors.

The Links, Incorporated, is an international, women’s non-profit, social welfare and service organization established in 1946. The membership consists of over 12,000 professional women of color throughout the United States, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The Links, Incorporated has attracted many distinguished women who are individual achievers and have made a difference in their communities and the world. We are business and civic leaders, role models, mentors, activists, volunteers and friends who work towards a common vision by engaging like-minded organizations and individuals for partnership and leveraging. Nationally, Link Members contribute more than 500,000 documented hours of community service annually – strengthening communities and enhancing the nation.

The Buckhead/Cascade City Chapter has established itself as a leader in providing outstanding programming and service in and far beyond the Greater Atlanta community. Our members are grateful for the support we have enjoyed over the years which has encouraged us to remain steadfast in our commitment to collaborating to make a difference in the lives of many underserved persons. It is our honor to share with you information about our chapter and our legacy of service.
